You know how the shoemaker has no shoes? Well I’m the photographer with no headshot. I know, I know…It’s on my to-do list, ok?!

I think it was easier to write a ten-plus page paper in college than it is to write one or two paragraphs about myself! I much prefer to talk about other people. Wait…that didn’t come out right. I just feel funny when the focus is on me…focus…I’m a photographer….see what I did there? Ok, let’s just get this over with!

My name is Jaime…and I totally overuse ellipses when I write. I love animals and corny jokes and I’m already married so I’ll stop making this sound like a Match.com profile. I have two beautiful crazy boys – nine and seven years old. It’s because of them that I began to love photography and capturing moments from days and years that seem to go by way too fast. I started my business in October of 2017 and I have loved every minute of it, and every client I have had the honor of photographing. It means the world to me that they trust me to capture a little piece of their lives that they can look back on as time marches forward.

My favorite captures are always the spontaneous moments. The ones where your children are snuggled in your lap as you read them a book…or when you’re making them squeal with laughter during a tickle fest. I love taking photos that showcase the fun and personality of your family.

In my family sessions I pose you to get the look we are going for, but then we throw away the script and let the fun flow! When it comes to newborns I either follow that same strategy in a lifestyle session or I stick your baby in a basket during a posed session if that’s what you prefer! (Comfortably and with utmost care of course!). It’s all beautiful! It all tells a story.

At the end of the day I just want to tell your story. And I want you to hold onto that story forever so you can look back on it years from now and smile all over again.
